I have had my eye on one of these since I saw it at one of the northern shows this winter. Yes I fish alone too.

I've been using one for the last year and a half. Luckily, I haven't needed it but on several occasions I've jumped off the boat to gas up and come back to hear the alarm sounding and the kill switch activated. It works as advertised. I solo a lot and it is a necessity in my opinion.

Neat product. The lack of mobility is probably the main reason for people not using their kill switch lanyard.
