I'm curious--How Many Have an EPIRB?

I havn't replaced my old frequency GPS with a new one. Been thinking about buying one, but also think about selling the boats and getting out of offshore fishing... I'm having a blast with my little boat and the family enjoys it more.

Are you talking about an "old frequency Epirb" with GPS?

If so these are totally illegal to use in the US (besides the fact they really don't work now) and have been that way since Jan 1 2007

Negative on EPIRB in boat, but would vote yes positive for "REEL BOATING" Group buy...Wiley you can count on me in that plus all the other items needed to have in a Ditch Bag... Including the Ditch Bag.

Does anyone sell the entire package ??? vs having to buy all the separate items needed...

If you go offshore at all you should have one. All I care about is my EPIRB.

Have life raft, epirb and plenty of bottled water every trip.

Feels more secure off shore with safety equipment.
