Fish caught on your boat

Got this guy last week. We drifted with a nice weedline about 12 miles off Ft lauderdale. The ocean was flat calm. Out of nowhere this guy comes along and grabs a whole dead ballyhoo on a spinner with 20# test line. it took me about 20 mins to wear him out and get him near the boat. It was the only keeper all day.

Here are some representative catches from the Sea of Cortez and the Baja Pacific that have come aboard or been released at the Soledad in the last year or so. The marlin in the tuna door was there only to extract the hook. Normally I do that with the fish in the water along side the boat, but it was hooked deep, it was rough, and I was alone so I brought him in the door for the operation. We both survived the ordeal little the worse for wear. The white dorado lost its color in the fishbox before the photo op. The yellowfin and dorado arrayed on the deck with my brother and nephew we caught on an incredible October day on which we also released 10 sailfish.
