I have enjoyed the show over the years but I agree with others here,,,,,,, the beginning was too scripted..........with Phil not knowing he was going on the boat until the last minute and the other captain waiting on the Dr to call to tell him his mouth sores werent cancerous all the while sitting at the dock loading pots.

No doubt! Did you catch the conversation between the CG aircrew when they spotted it? They said they had never seen a black liferaft before.

I wish I could find a map that shows Alaskan waters, CG ports, and overlay it on the lower 48. The coasties to an amazing job covering vast distances with relatively little assets. Not to mention weather that is difficult to opperate in.

Another great show last night. I realize it is easy to arnchair QB, but really, did Capt. Keith honestly think his crew would be able to deploy the tarp in those conditions? All I could picture was a giant spinnaker being deployed.

Glad everyone turned out safe, but to me the Wizard really seems to push the envelope sometimes.
