  1. Thanks for the compliments. The seas were actually worse then the video let on, with the storms. It was a true sloppy 3-4. The boat was nothing short of awesome and the motors I believe are going to be great sellers for a ton of boat companies. I am still in the breaking in process and still learning how to drive it. The video was also take with out trim tabs. In all honesty the boat does not need them. I will try to get some better video in the weeks to come. The rain cut this one short. cool..it looked sloppy..reminds me of the gulf water we have..solid 3's.. Enjoy your ride, she is sweet..
  2. congrats on the boat..looks like it runs ok in the chop. next time I would like to see more babes in your video..LOL
  3. I have used 3M and Rejex with great results...but prefer Leverage, goes on easier and comes off even easier, lasts a little longer in the salt water. It is polimer based product with synthetic clay bar built with in the bottle. Once shook, apply small amount and do a 5x5' area...the shine is clear, not muddy, and has some really deep reflective properties..especially on a darker colored hull.
  4. I think I'd be more inclined to use a cleaner designed for cleaning eye glasses; one that's approved safe for anti-reflective coatings. Come to think of it, that's exactly what I use and it works great which product do you use..thanks Jeff
  5. I checked the gps on the Baja..still looks good..
  6. thanks on the salmon...Blackened Tuna glazed with a Mango Salsa...next time....
  7. great to see you guys here.....and thanks for the ride two weeks ago...you really shed some light on how your cat rode better than any same size V I have owned or been on..especially in rough water in a head sea and following sea...
  8. thanks for the welcome guys..this is a great place..less drama..
  9. wife just cleaned the glass cook top.. I told her about this thread.. she went right outside and is trying it now.. It's beer..30 for me..and yes I have a great wife..Jeff
  10. on the way back out or up and if bringing a 27, lets see if it fits on my lift..supper on me. Jeff
  11. have been on a WC many years ago..it was ok..was just on a 27 and 33 AC..impressed, ride was awesome. Stayed nuetral with a slight lean into the turns..very much like a mono. Fisherman finish was ok, price was extremely fair....a lot of value..The Freeman is like jewelery and dont know a thing on the Renn..

  13. It was, and road beautiful.. Soft re-entry, handled the water, and felt very large for a 27,,beautiful boat..and the colors ..I think Jeff called it Aquamist were perfect against that blue water..and it would look better in the brown waters on my lift here in MS as well
  14. Just sold my 43 NorTech and 23 Albury Brothers. Looking for replacements. Any day on the water in any boat is better than sitting on the couch, even with the remote in hand... LOL

  15. just found this thread..he was in MS around 2nd week of June.. Beautiful boat, extremely well made, and drove awesome..we just didnt have any rough water...and Jay's is a good guy as well. Jeff
  16. They are right in my backyard.. I thought he was just building boats for the gov't.. Another nice boat is the RockSalt 34. Jay actually stayed at our house when he was passing through a few weeks ago on the way to LA and gave us all a ride in his creation.. We backed it down my launch..and took her out.. That is also a beautiful, well handling boat. I enjoyed driving it.. Jeff
  17. was a great day..safe with family, friends and neighbors...and more neighbors...did I say neighbors stopped by
  18. I agree with many of your claims..also check out Leverage wax . com Ive used this for the last 5 years..goes on easy, comes off easier and lasts in the salt environment..It is supposedly not a wax and is a polimer with a polimer clay bar additive that has to be shooken before initial use. I use it now on all my fleet trucks, and boats.. along with 3M stuff.. Thanks for the info.. Jeff
  19. any updates or prop changes.. just as another refrence point the 39 NorTech with 3 300 verado's did 71 with 100 gallons and 4 people. and 3 350 Yamaha's at 77. something. congrats on a nice boat. Jeff
  20. Im new to the site as well..joined a year ago, forgot I did..and will be checking this site out more..Jeff
  21. I didnt see any listed, but knowing Steve, if you wanted a ride he'd probably bring it to you. What about a ride in Central Iowa? They stopped in at Bayou Caddy last week. I had 2 impressive rides..the 27 and 33. Handled anything we threw at the boats in the 2-3's occasional 4' holes. Best riding cats I have been on.. and they leaned into a turn like a V-bottomm. Jeff
  22. had a 23..loved the boat..looking at another 23 with twins but most likely will go with the 27..just like the seafoam green one at the show..That boat was awesome in everyway..
  23. beautiful boat..great lines..excellent workmanship..and awesome color...boat looks stout.
  24. here's my Merc 700 with # 6 drives.. If I stay at 3500 rpms which is 60 mph my Smart Craft registers 1.47 mpg..and thats for a 13.5k boat
  25. Good Post.. I, as well as my partner who details 200-250 boats a year agree with this statement. I waxed the bottom of both my CC as well as my 43 Nortech. The speed difference is negligable..but the clean up is much easier. We use a polimer polish..not a carnuba based product. http://www.topnotchperformancemarine.com/L...roducts-c2.html Leverage Polish.
