  1. Any comments/experience with the engine mounted trolling motor from MinnKota?
  2. For you fiberglass experts out there, I found out from another source that has done fiberglass work for Fountain Boats, that you never wax below the water line. This causes increased build up when in salt water. Another person told me that the "stuff" in salt water actually gets between the wax and gel coat and will stain or discolor the gel coat. Is this true?
  3. I'm thinking about putting a salt water trolling motor on the front of my Carolina Skiff 218 DLV. I was warned about there being a delay between the time the remote button is selected and the motor responding which could cause a run in with an unexpected object. I have also heard that the remote control is the way to go. Curious to hear experience from those with remote control units. Thank you.
  4. I recently heard from someone that you don't want to wax a fiberglass boat hull below the water line. Any input to this? My opinion has always been that as long as it protects the finish and looks better waxed, why not do it? Thank you for your comments.
