  1. I to am happy they are gone, but they sure did hold alot of small Jew fish that were great fun when it was slow off shore. All in all I agree that it is nice not to have them there.
  2. Some other #'s that I have seen: 3500rpm 36mph 1.5mpg 4000rpm 44-45mph 1.3-1.4mpg 4500rpm 50mph 1.1-1.2mpg 5000rpm 55-56mph 1.0mpg 6000rpm 64.7mph 0.8mpg I know yellowfin got over 65mph with this boat. I had about 200-225gallons of fuel in the boat, full water, hardtop, open aray radar, coffinbox full of ice, beer, and rum punch, forward seating, and 4 people when the numbers abover were taken. I know that light it gets even better, and with close to 400 gallons of fuel you can take 1/10th of a mile per gallon off those numbers and about 1mph of speed. I will keep you posted on more numbers when I get more time on her. Travis
  3. Thanks for the compliments. The seas were actually worse then the video let on, with the storms. It was a true sloppy 3-4. The boat was nothing short of awesome and the motors I believe are going to be great sellers for a ton of boat companies. I am still in the breaking in process and still learning how to drive it. The video was also take with out trim tabs. In all honesty the boat does not need them. I will try to get some better video in the weeks to come. The rain cut this one short.
  4. This is a short video of the new 300's running in some sloppy conditions. We were going between 38 and 40mph. The boat is awesome, and the motors are a perfect match. The amount of fuel is only for the center tank. The boat had 4 people, right at 200gallons of fuel, full water, fuel, etc... Not to bad, and it is still being broken in. Travis
  5. Have you made anymore progress on the video portion of the forum? Really interested in seeing some of the boats you sea trialed. Thanks
  6. Those are good numbers. We just got the first 36 yellowfin with the new 300's and the best we have seen is 65mph. There might be more to be had as our boat has a hardtop, 12kw radar, coffin box, and forward seating. Good for Contender on the numbers. These motors are very impressive, and I am sure that they can only get better with the more they are dialed in.
  7. Thanks Wiley, We just got our 36 Yellowfin with 3 of these motors and the YCOP System. Will have to get some video of us using it and show you how the boat runs. We picked it up on Friday and have only had it in the water the once for the sea trial. I can tell everyone that the new Yamahas are awesome, and the torque is impressive. With 150 gallons of fuel, and 2 people (light)the boat went over 65mph burning 77 gallons per hour. At 40-45mph cruise the motors were only burning 25-28gallons per hour and getting 1.5mpg. At 53mph we were getting 1.1-1.2 mpg. They are awesome motors. Boat 3.bmp Boat 5.bmp
  8. That 36 Yellowfin Pro Marine boat just took 2nd place overall at the SKA Nationals. Not bad for the being just built and to place in that type of tournament. I know that it is the anglers that do the work, but it is still cool that the boat was being showed in Lauderdale, and 3 weeks later is in the top with others at the largest king tourny.
  9. Ordered a 2010 36 Yellowfin last Wednesday after seeing them at the FLIBS. Looked at a lot of 36 class boats and the yellowfin fit the bill for us. It will have trip F350 Yamaha's and all of the trimmings. When completed in March, I will post some pix. Anxiously waiting until then.
  10. Went to Yellowfin last Wednesday and sea trialed the 36 that was at the convention center. The ride was so good in the cold front and the remnants of Hurricane Ida that we ordered a 2010 36 with trip 350 Yamaha’s. They are the best riding center console that I have ever been on and cant wait until March when the boat is completed. Thanks for posting the pix!!!
  11. I can't wait. We alreay got premier day tickets from ticket master. Our boat has been sold for a month now and we are really ancy for the show and to see the possible next rig. Invincible and Yellowfin are at the top as of now. Just have to decide on the power options......... Can't Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Blue Bayou, I know a lot about both boats, but I would really like to know the real world numbers of the 36 with twins. I actually chartered Rob when he was with Invincible and know how good the boats perform with triples. I have seen you post on your boat and you seem to be very happy with it as you should be. They are probably the best riding boat in there class. Please PM me what you like the most or dislike if any about your boat.
  13. No I havent. I would like to know any information about the boat.
  14. I am looking to buy either before or at the Miami Show. We just sold out 31 Contender and are looking at the 36 Invincible or 33st Contender. These are the two boats that fit our fishing styles the best. Looking for twin Yamaha F-350's or we will see what is debuted at the show. I hear roomers of new 400’s+++, so who knows. I would love to have a 36 Invincible with Twin 400 Yamaha’s. Not really in any rush, we are just going to take our time and make sure that we get the boat we want. Has anyone run a 36 Invincible with twin 350 Yamaha's that can give me some honest real world numbers???
  15. I have a friend that has a 2007 33t with twin F-250 yamahas. He keeps it on a lift in Boynton Beach and I think that it only has about 70 hours. Loaded with 12 KW radar, auto pilot, ect..... He also has a trailer that has been kept inside since new. Just e-mail me and I will put you in contact with him. -Travis Check you PM
