  1. Interesting how many different angles there are to this problem. I use contact cement at strategic points on the bell and O-ring. I have done this ~3 times on my 10 yr old Yami F115s. It is just enough to hold the O-ring in place until you can clamp the bell in place. My approach has been successful but it is the principle that makes the difference. MDT
  2. I second the vote on the compressor importance for tire life. I have hose that rolls out to the street so I cover my two trailers and those of my four neighbors. But it is all the local kids on the street that I get a chuckle out of....all summer long it is, "Mr. T will you fill up my bicycle tires please?". Teach them early about the importance of tire pressure and it will be a great lesson learned. MDT
  3. One thing I didn’t see in the pictures was a torque wrench. Those drain plugs (and everything else on a Yamaha that tightens) has torque spec's noted in the manual. I must admit that I have inserted a few heil coils in the past but when I got my twin F-115 in 2000, I purchased a torque wrench and have been religious about using it. My twins have no hiel coils installed to date and for plugs (drain and spark), with aluminum threads, that are removed and reinstalled each fall, that is doing pretty good....at least for me. MDT
