Thanks folks, I talked to a tech at Furuno and was instructed to NOT do anything with the shielding wire.

The install manual make NO mention of this so here goes. The power cable has a braided wire shield around the conductors. Should this be connected to the ground, if so is the battery ground side good enough? Thanks

Time to replace the Goodyear marithons on my trailer. I remember reading about some issues with the late generation of Goodyear marithons. Looking for some input on what seems to be holding up for you folks! Thanks
