Is it easier to read with a darker background?

try making the first letter of each word slightly larger and it will pop a little more.

I mostly use MS Publisher for stuff like this, but some of the fonts are from a website called cooltext.com

Try the second without the shadowing. I always prefer clean lines for titles. Sometimes you can get a bit carried away with what the softwware will do and you lose sight of what you are trying to get across - ala PowerPoint!

That particular font won't do that, but I could go with something a bit less stylized....kind of a hybrid of the two:

Much better. Before, the way the letters were flwoing was confusing to me as well. The way the W flowed from the T, etc.

OK, here's what I have so far:

The first one's too busy by general consensus, on to the second one.

Second one: Darker background for more contrast/readability. Thinned the background for a "sharper" look (can't get rid of it altogether or the "steel" of the letters will blend too much w/ white background). Changed the font to something less stylized/more readable. First letters of each word larger (capital) for more "pop"
