Just walked in from a nice resturant we both enjoy about 3 miles from here. We are regulars and it's always fun.

Mussles, 2 JD's for me, 2 white's for her, steak for me, chicken for her, no desert, she paid, and I drove home. She's a light weight.

My shooting friends are emailing the hell out of me because I bailed on them. It was friggin pouring out and I got a better offer for dinner from Linda versus eating lead powder coated whatever at a range. I'm laughing at the fact that we were warm and dry seeing the Red Sox in rain delay and those guys were wet, cold, hungry and thirsty trying to find some stupid orange clay thing flying thru the air.

At 48 anyone can get old, not everyone can stay young.

ME? I refuse to grow up and act my age.

Got to admit I do like a nice dinner out on my B'day as well.

My wife's is at the end of May so every other year or so it falls somewhere on the holiday weekend so she gets to spend it overnighting on the boat!! Buy hey, I do throw her a steak on the grill!
