Trophy Rebuild Phase 3

Recommended Posts

Re moved the console today to cut the hole for the water tank and new electronics/wiring cabinet. The Admiral freaked, but it looks worse that it is. They used 5200 to bed the support for the tower, not sure why. Luckily it came free fairly well. If this was the winter time, I would probably take out the tower, rebuild and anodize and put a new console, but this will work for now.

Nothing like taking a jig saw to a boat. Good luck & keep us up to date on the progress

btw - are those OSHA approved flip flops ?

Hey Gary,

I wanted to say it was nice meeting you. That boy does not subscribe. You should have seen waht he was going to do with a gigsaw and a pice of metal tubing :o

I'm with The Admiral on this one. :605_thumbs_up:

I'd have freaked also. That's the kind of job that I don't want to see in progress on any of my boats; just call me when it's over, show me the end result (hopefully good) and send me the bill.

What's next on the demolition schedule? :471_confused_face:

Well...........

I have decide to remove the canvas while the glass work is being done. I am going to re infore the places that itmes are screwed into, outrigger, antenna mounts, radar. Basically it will have a double layer of sunbrella.

I am toying with powder coating the T-Top. I personally know it will look god and there are only 8 bolts remaing, to remove it from the deck.

I know it looks rough, but really it will all come together really nice. My coating is gone in alot of areas, and I think the white powder coating done well, will really set it off.
