There was an old PT conversion in Ft Laud back in the late 1970's. It was a beast. It was set up a a Bimini party boat. It was LOUD.

Engines had blowers on them creating higher cylinder pressure.

Jay are there any of those ALLOY PT Boats left around ?

There is one docked right out of Franklin, LA right south of Hwy 90 in a small canal off of the Bayou Teche. You can see it from the highway. Really neat looking boat. I have seen it pass up the Bayou Teche behind my house a few times. It was listed for sale a few years ago. Not sure if it is still on the market.
