Made In The USA

Interesting topic and near to my heart. Google USA products when you shop if this is important to you as it is to me. A few that come to mind now are

Most Sears Craftsman tools/machines

Chevrolet and GMC Trucks

The Chevrolet Impala SS

Ballantine Ale

993 New Balance running shoes - great if you are just plain overweight or have to stand at work

USA Beef

Carhart Products

I have been buying American made clothing over the internet - many brands I never heard of for years and the prices are not much higher than the foreign stuff and its very good quality overall

:1925_: CARHART WAS made in the US. But not anymore. Some product still is,but most are now outsourced to offshore... Careful what you buy from them... Stanley, Craftsman, MAC Tools, etc... have a lot of product outsourced now.. Gotta read the fine print... I check everything... :504_shrugging: Edited by dockside

Emblems dont mean 100%, but at least part might or might not be made/assembled by USA. I saw a picture a few years ago of a Japanese ship. It was 6 inches narrower than the Panama Canal. Can not remember if it was Nissan or Toyota. The parts were loaded on it, then on the way over here the vehicles were assembled. Since they were assembled in International waters, when they reached the USA, a made in the USA sticker was slapped on them.
