It's cool seeing pictures of quality craftsmanship and restoration projects. There are different ways of doing projects so I think most of us can learn some tips. So definitely keep the pics coming!

Wow thats a project and two. Had a buddy back 15 years that modernized his 45 of around 1980 vintage. He was adding and changing interior. Gutting and starting over thats a big job. Those older hatteras hulls were built like ships.take lots of pictures.

yeah, post some more pics, what all are you planning on doing to it?

in a couple months i'm going to help a friend take a 1966 34' hat and refit it. repowering with diesels, new electrical, new electronics, new paint etc.. i'll plan on making a thread on it.

I had a Boat Project Forum initally but posts were few and far between.

I'm actually looking to reduce the amount of foeum topics here in favor of other type content.

Add it back... Boat rehabs are few & far between, but very nice when it's done. It would be nice to have a sub-forum to place these posts in...

I'm told it was a well known charter boat in PB, I've had several people tell me that they fished on this boat before. Regardless, the interior is now COMPLETELY gutted and we've started to derig the tower. Hopefully there's enough $ to build an enclosed bridge! The remaining nasty old hatteras wood is coming out tomorrow.
