I didn't take my camera on the trip, but Im glad my clients had there's.

Here is some pictures they took (I added a little editing to them) They just e-mailed them to me last night.....

All of the fish were caught on live or fresh cut menhaden while fishing in about 30' of water out by the jetty's.

They are possibly the most silver drum I have ever seen. Was the water cold or something?

No,,,Its not the water temp.

These fish are caught in deep water (30') out at the jetty's. Im pretty sure sunlight and water salinity has a lot to do with there color.

The fish here that are caught in shallow cold water have a lot more color. Also up the rivers where there is very little salt (brackish) they are real dark and rich in color.

I've seen them silver like that here in Jacksonville. Farther up the river the more copper they become. Sometime it is the way the light shines on them.
