1. That's a good lookin vessell right there!
2. I have a Penn 9/0 that has been used under 5 times. It is in great condition. It has a little pitting on the back of the reel where it attaches to the rod but it could be fixed easily. The rod is a brand new PacHawk Oceantech (model #OHG-5617RC) 5'6" lent and has a line class of 30-80lbs. The first and last guides are roller guides. The rod has never been used and is in great shape. It has brand new #65lb Suffix Tritanium in hi-vis green that was just put on. The reel also comes with a brand new Calcutta reel cover that is worth about $18.This set up can catch just about any fish from grouper to blue-fin. I am looking to trade it for a saltwater casting reel that will go on a 10'6" 2-6oz casting surf rod. The reel does not have to be brand new but needs to work great. I am looking for something like the Avet SX or the Shimano Calcutta. I would be open to any reel manufacture like Penn or Ambassador also. Just as long as the reel has decent line capacity and is made for casting. I am not looking to get over on someone so if I need to put money with this set-up to make the deal I will. You can PM me here or email me at mattmuttsmith@yahoo.com. I live in severe south eastern NC at Oak Island NC. I would be willing to travel an hour to meet up with you. I will also ship this item well so there is no way it could be damaged. If you need pics just let me know but this is a pretty straight forward item so I'm sure you know what it is.
3. For Sale: 2002 Harley Davidson 1200 Custom Sportster Unfortuntly I had to move so my pride and joy has to go! You will not see another sportster like this any where! It has a rare factory custom paint job. Pretty much everything that can be chromed is chromed. Custom HD pegs and mirrors and grips. Custom HD badlander seat. Medium size ape hanger which are very manageable. Turn signal relocation on front and back. Custom turn signal bullet smoke out kit. Custom S&S carb cover. Sampson straight pipes, this bike has a great sound! HD Forks bag. There are many more chromed out items that are on this bike but to much to list! This bike has every thing. You will not have to add a thing to show it off. Reminds me of a new age bobber. All the accessories were put on by a HD dealer. The bike has always been garage kept under a cover and has never seen a drop of rain. Since I had to move away I keep the bike at my parents so the bike can be shown very easy. I am firm on the price of $5499. The best way to get in touch with me is to email me and I will give you my phone number or vice versa and we will talk. If you have any questions I will be happy to help! Contact: email me at mattmuttsmith@yahoo.com The bike is located in Durham NC close to Brier Creek Shopping Center and 6-8 minutes away from RDU.
4. That is an unbelievably good looking boat. Imagine running that bad boy! It would be great!
5. Gus. You are one lucky man. Count your blessing this Thanksgiving. Side note-Do you celebrate Thanksgiving since your "from" Canada? That is one beautiful boat though man. The only thing I think I would do to it would be update the electronics and put a HUGE bow rail that goes down to the middle of the boat. Good luck in all your endeavors!

These are great jigs and I guarentee no one you know will be using these which will give you an advantage over them because I really do believe fish get used to seeing the same lures over and over again and if you can put something in front of them that they havent seen they will bite better. Thank you!

8. This weekend I took my wife shopping. I only had iPhone on me so please excuse the quality of the pics. The first pictures is coming from the South on NC17 headed home. We hit the line of clouds that seemed to be a "front" because the temp changed about 5 degrees on either side of it. We hit NC87 headed East toward home and when we got back to the island you could see the line of clouds from the North on top of the bridge. I took the pic while moving with my iphone so again please excuse the quality. I just think this line of clouds was beautiful and it went as far as you could see. It was beautiful! Hope you enjoy!
9. I'm not trying to bash you. However, that is not entirely true. Each state has different laws concerning what is legal if you are out of state. MOST states require you to be with-in the law of THEIR laws if you are trailing on their roads regardless of where your home state is and what laws they have. A good example is if you have a kid and he rides in a car seat in some states it is against the law to put the seat in the front seat. However if you go into the state next door and it is OK for them to be upfront in the car seat and the next mile you go into a new state that has a law against front seat car seats the FUZZ has the right to give you a ticket because it is against their laws. The best rule of thumb however is to ALWAYS be WELL with-in the law no matter where you go! TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER: Your truck is fine just service your trailer before you go and carry two spare tires, two sets of bearings for EACH axle, and plenty of blocks and even a couple pieces of big plywood to put down if you pull over on a soft side road and it gets stuck. Triple back ups are the rule of thumb. Ofcourse bring all the tools you can pack including an air tank full of air. On my trips I brink the above plus an air compressor that is hooked up to a generator I keep in the bed. This allows me to use my air tools and electric tools that make life a whole lot easier. If you do the above you will be fine. Just take your time and keep plenty of distance away from the vehicle in front of you and you will be fine. Good luck and God speed!
