I've been looking at Intrepids and they are on my short list, with that being said, do they have any canvas enclosures? Up here we have a very cold spring and fall, it seems that without the canvas protecting you from wind and wet it would be quite uncomfortable. The only reason I ask is that I can not see how they would attach in any photos I see.

Any thoughts on 2001 Mercury 2225 4 Strokes? about 500 hrs?

Call Intrepid customer service. Have the hull number or boat name when you call as many Intrepid are somewhat custom. Ask your questions and get ready to be stunned by a level of customer service you thought was extinct.

If you cannot get in touch with Ryan, I would recommend calling the main plant and talk to Joe Brenna. Definitely have the hin number of the boat you are interested in and he can tell you everything about it. He can also tell you of any options or what other owners have done with similar boats. Customer service is second to none with Intrepid.

I have a 289 center and have a custom 3-sided enclosure with an EZ2CY front panel w/vents. In the warmer mos.I run with the front panel alone. The enclosure is attached to the aluminum braces for the t-top. Anything is possible with a quality canvas co. By the way....i love the 32 and it will be My next boat.

The Mercury 225 four strokes are Yamaha 225's painted black. They are not the most powerful thing out there, but there are lots of them in service and are good, reliable engines. I am on my second pair of them with Yamaha labels and they just plain work.
