  1. Could there be more boats out there rigged like this one? One would hope not.
  2. I have a Kohler 5E, not the same but similar in operation. I experienced the same problem after changing the coolant. I went online and found pages of forums discussing various problems and how to repair them in the field. I would look on the top of the coolant manifold towards the rear there is a brass bolt. Sometimes air will get into the system when you change the coolant or add coolant if it is very low. The air seems to pocket in the top rear of the manifold and not allow the coolant to flow properly thus making the water temperature too hot forcing the generator to shut down. This brass bolt needs to be loosened to allow the air to escape. Once I removed the air in the system, it ran fine.
  3. Not far from there, will need a phone number to make arrangements.
  4. Are you talking about installing Isenglass (sp) to keep wind and possible spray away from the console? I would take some photos of the boat you are interested in and talk to a canvas/isenglass installer and see what your options are.
  5. If you cannot get in touch with Ryan, I would recommend calling the main plant and talk to Joe Brenna. Definitely have the hin number of the boat you are interested in and he can tell you everything about it. He can also tell you of any options or what other owners have done with similar boats. Customer service is second to none with Intrepid.
  6. It's better to have and not need then to need and not have!
  7. Very roomy, which is one of the criteria I was looking for when I found her. The boat is capable of doing everything I want to do (fishing wise), including the ability to hold a large amount of fish in the insulated fish box (huge). Most importantly, the Admiral absolutely loves it.
  8. Gulf side wreck fishing 3/14 (federal waters) with the Admiral and first mate!
  9. First post on first thread. Wiley glad you are back!
