My folks used to have a condo at a place called Bouchelle Island in New Smyrna Beach. Used to take my boat down there and it is a great location. On the ICW, just south of Ponce Inlet. The condo association has a number of slips onthe ICW.

New Smyrna Beach is a good location with access to the ocean and to the Canaveral area. There are two airports you can use, either Daytona or Orlando. Orlando and all the "tourist" stuff is a little over an hour away which is good for visiting family.

I have a condo at Bouchelle. There are many units for sale in your range. Fishing inshore is great. We are at the northern end of the Mosquito Lagoon. I fish offshore in the winter mostly for bottom fish. They have closed fishing for grouper in the winter. They will closed the Snapper fishing also, so unless you think fishing for grunts is fun, forget our coast. You can troll, but the dolphin and sails move south for the winter. Try Stuart, as has been suggested before. When weather permits at's not a long run to the Bahamas from there either.

Depending on the size of boat--Slips are in skinny water
