  1. send me your e-mail im interested in the trailer if it is still available
  2. Paint thinner is the best way to clean a rub rail but i do not know of any satins i wouldnt paint it because the paint will crack when u "use" the rub rail i agree with DJ
  3. I've been going to the keys my entire life and haven't heard of much theft. I've never locked my boat or placed and alarm on it. if you are saying in a residential area you should be fine just take all the loose things off the boat. its the keys relax and enjoy your self the boat will be fine just make sure u are up to date on all safety equipment and permits because FWC is my only worry down there P.S. His-Sea-Fit good to see somebody from Carrabelle on here i was there last week
  4. i have never personally rented from Abaco but some of my family members have. the rented the Paramount and it was a pig they. the boat topped out at around 30 mph. as for the ride they never took it out far but wasn't horrible for island hopping. Be careful spear fishing because the sharks are BIG and i have had some really close encounters. Ive only fished off Hope Town and if you are heading in and out of there dont try any short cuts because I have seen coral heads breaking the surface in 30ft of water. i dont know too much about the fishing this time of year but call some local charters and ask them what they are targeting and they should let you know. Abaco is a beautiful place and you'll have a blast
  5. i like the built in Lpostless moving parts and looks cleaner
  6. next time you got the girls on the boat you can just cruise around the canals and marinas near port there is always new things that you might not have seen yet, we do live in the yachting capital of the world
  7. blue, if that link to Mike doesnt work out and your in lauderdale take a drive down to 17th street there are plenty of brokers and other yacht based companies in that area south of rio vista they can probably give you some brochures of boats in the area that you could personally tour and get a better idea. worst case scenario you get to see some cool boats p.s. that newport is sweet
  8. yesI, its people like you that keep intelligent member from giving us their point of view on subjects like this. please get laid for all of us or at least go to a strip club n enjoy your self, its starting to get pathetic.
  9. yesi i dont work forr the company anymore because i worked for Tom Mason and when he built his 23 ft powerplay i went with him i was also in high school when he sold the company and am still in college in Tallahassee and i dont think that you are more important that one of the owners because if you were you wouldnt be so defensive youd have the confidence to laugh it off like the rest of us. do you still live with your mom?
  10. im just passionate about the subject because i am friends with the previous owner of midnight and he showed me how the boating industry works almost like an apprenticeship he let me submit some of my designs which were minor but gave me a sense of owner ship and when the company was sold the the new guys they never gave the employees the respect that Tom did the company taught me a lot and the guys there knew what they were doing and loved to show a kid(myself) how everything worked Tom even let me sell boats at one of the shows and i was only a high school student. the new guys came in and ill just say that the boats arent made like they used to be so i guess i just like to see the owners of companies to be passionate about their designs and the industry its self because i would like to design and sell my own boat one day
  11. Sorry about the grammar, bad habits are hard to break, nope my initials are not E.T. but if you were thinking of ed from edit i do know him sorry for the outburst didnt mean to be disrespectful to the rest of the members
  12. im not sure of the boat show schedules in your area but if one is comming up near you that may not be a bad place to start and im sure they would have samples to show you as well good luck
  13. be careful some people might take it too personally
  14. YesI, before you go around pretending you know what you are talking about you better find out who is on these forums cause there are some people who can really embarrass that company. because they have alot of dirty laundry there was so much to say about it that the first thread was removed so take a chill pill and u might learn something 1st the employees that i was refering to was the top salesman for midnight and the former owner and designer of the boats that you are so proud of ill let that soak in.......................r u ready for the next fact or r u too ignorant.................2nd the first boat show these new spoiled bratts that own the company work they spent 90% of the time playing x-box on the north star and didnt talk to any you cant be scared to talk to girls if your a slaesman i kno because my booth was right next to theirs. 3rd i hope that you are one of the owners because that would assure everyone that you have no idea what you are talking aobut there are many more things that im sure midnight doesnt want anyone to know about and there are more things that im sure midnight would not like spread all over the internet so can we all go back to the professional discussion that we were having before rainman interrupted thank you, Topless
  15. probably wouldnt eat anything outta that lake
  16. the boats rigged by edit were great boats. and as for the ride i have been in 6ft seas with Ryan Hains driving a 39 quad boat and we didnt feel a drop of water if you know how to drive the boat it can be the best riding boats in the market. the new kids that own the company are having such a rough time because they dont know what they are doing. daddy bought them a company and they are hurting them selves. they fired any one that could have helped them become successful and thought they could do it on their own. i know more about those boats then they do. and as for the 5 engine boat we all know that it was great for advertisement but thats about it, the finish on that boat was horrible and they shoulld have saved some money for a good top. there are skills and techniques that come with experience in this industry and it looks like they are lacking some of the basics
  17. its good to see people thinking out side the box but its a little ugly and doesnt look like the weight capacity could be to high considrering there were guys on the bow and it looked kinda low. i wonder what it would do in flat sea with a random sportfish wake at high speed, would the sponsons cut into the wake n take it over the bow or would there be time for the vessel to adjust? and wuts up with the enthusiastic Ben Stein narrator?
  18. Im new to RB and im a FSU student. we just got back from fishin today. didnt do to great but the weather ended up being really nice n it turned into a great day. have u found ppl to fish with
  19. lets just face the facts the company is not what it once was i love the boat but seems like corners are being cut and they are finally starting to see the repercussions. i hope they get their acts together because that company had the potential to be one of the best military boats on the water
