  1. well. I tryed a few of the sugestions on the rub rail Prob. But , nothing worked. Then a brain storm hit me. After messing around boats for the last 50 years ,BINGO , Good old Penetrol did it. Dont know how long it will hold up but, it looks new for now. When it looks crapey, put on another coat. I just though some body else may have a prob with a rub rail, if so,try it.   2. Thanks for all the replays. I think I will try the Compond bit and if that dont work, I will try Aroua Products. Dont feel like putting on a new rub rail. thanks again Ginrickei
  3. Hi there, got a minor prob. I just bought a 17 ft Cape Craft ( got tired of getting beat up off Shore) and the rub rail is all discollored. It is a hard rubber of some kind. Is there any kind of stain or paint that can be used on it that will stand up under salt water? Thanks for the help. Ginrickri
