I have a brand new DRS4a open array radar....it was delivered with the boat from the factory brand new. It was on for 3 weeks and i used it twice....works perfect. But i realized i need something bigger so i had to upgrade. Asking $3500 obo...includes open array 3.5ft wand and DRS4a gearbox and cables. Will deliver free in South Florida area. did it get on plane when u seatrialed it?...how long have u had the boat and when did it start doing this?

fished the boat for the first time today.....ive never felt the sensation of slicing a wave like a knife thru butter before today. Seas were 20-25 knots from the NE but the seas had not turned around yet from yesterdays ESE 20-25, so the seas were 3-5 confused early. Later in the day they were 2-4 from NE. I have alot to learn. Subprime/Blue Bayou....i need some help with the livewell setup and to pick your brain a bit.

I agree, no one should be driving fast enough at night to launch their boat over another. While the lack of lights was a major factor, the Intrepid never should have been on plane after dark. I am always amazed at how fast people will go at night. Boats don't have headlights! If we still enforced maritime law, I bet the Intrepid owner would have been in some deep doodoo. i had the unfortunate duty to take care of one of the kids that was hospitalized.....a teenage kid from PR with multiple injuries and a severed finger if i remember. The PTSD was worse. I myself was almost run over in the bay a year after that happened. I had all my lights on and was running on a new boat. Now i wont run that slow at night and run around 30-40mph with the radar kicking, and it lights up lobster or stone crab buoys. How can a 35ft Intrepid not have radar?
