  1. 1984 Bayliner Ciera 23ft. Dont laugh, it only cost me $1000 cash and i have the title!!
  2. TooReel, thats a good one and great story to match.
  3. Well seeing as how the Bayliner is finally running right I found it only fitting to give her a name. Me and my wife racked our brains over hundreds of name but settled on one she thought up. Let me know what you think and post yours!!
  4. The marina also found that my distributor wiring was in wrong sequence. They finally got it running right and she now gets on a plane, $500 dollars later.
  5. Ok, the marina called, so far they have found a bent neeedle valve in the carb that is flooding the carb with too much fuel. Also they are installing a fuel water seperater, Ethenol fuel causes water to form over time because boats dont have sealed fuel systems like cars do, thus causing water to form from the Ethenol in street fuel. I will keep you posted as they find more, hopefully there is no more. Needle valve should be in tomorrow.
  6. Any way, the boat is in the shop and im expecting a call sometime today. Will post as soon as I hear something.
  7. OMG!! Thats halarious.. they better both be on the bow...too funny!
  8. FYI, heres how the engine came, it was a little messy. Personally im surprised it was even fixable.
  9. I sure did, I wish that was the problem. I am going to take it to the marina and let them figure it out I will let you guys know as soon as they tell me. I appreciate all the help.
  10. If I remember right about 4000 out of water and about 2600 in the water wide open.
  11. I bought the boat last year in june, half of the engine was in a box so i paid a mechanic to put it back together. Needless to say there was no seatrial. All in all I paid $1000 for the boat and trailer and $800 for the engine rebuild so i guess the next option would be to get a bigger engine for it.
  12. It is a four cylinder and the engine was just rebuilt last year. The hull has no water in it. Do you think it could possibly be the timing is off, i dont know anything about setting timing.
  13. I replaced the fuel filters 2 weeks ago and when i got the boat along with the plugs and wires. All parts were replaced with OEM parts.
