  1. I'm sure he said he was at the helm, making trim adjustments, and could take over the wheel at a second's notice.
  2. He wasn't exactly a "slave" to details.
  3. Tim I was in Loredo a few years back. I thought that had to be the hotest place on the earth.
  4. I always liked those Ticonderogas. They remind me of "mini Bertrams". I always hated those big engine boxes though. I think going to a bracket with outboards would free up a lot of cockpit space. Nice Boat.
  5. I would print that, and frame it. If there's any way you could get Yoko Ono to sign it, you could make ALOT of money...
  6. Doesn't the Sailfish have the variable deadrise hull? That is an awsome design.
  7. I'm guessing when you say that you saw "spray on the cylinder head", you meant that there was evidence water had hit the head; not that water was comming out of the head. If all you did was change the lower unit, I'm guessing it's one of two things. First, when you install the lower unit, along with the driveshaft and gearchange, there is a round water pipe. This pipe, via a replacable coupler, must engage the round pipe comming down from the power head. This pipe is the output of the waterpump. If for whatever reason, both pipes aren't seated in the coupler correctly, or the coupler is missing, water would be spraying everywhere. The second posibility is that you knocked the pee streem hose off the through cowling fitting, the fitting dropped off (Into the water), and now the pee strean hose is loose under the cowling.....
  8. Look what these guys have to do to earn a living...
  9. Lemon Bluff, on the St. Johns River last Winter....
  10. I bet the ride of that SeaCraft defies the laws of nature.....They really don't make them like that anymore...
