  1. Was riding around the other day and thought this would make a good pic op.
  2. A couple running pics. Enjoy 49 mph and still tweaking. Need to raise the motor another inch or so. Only 5600 rpms
  3. Not completely finished but had to take it for a ride to Shack. 48 mph by GPS, cruise at 30 mph at 4000 rpms getting right at 3.5 mpg.
  4. Hung the motor yesterday. Hooked up and it works. Must of done something right.
  5. Got the hardtop built and installed. Windlass, bowthruster, bilge pumps, trim tabs, lights, electronics, rub rails and misc wiring complete. Going to try to hang the motor this week. Still have to do the nonskid.
  6. Thanks Conchyjoe Got the boat home to finish rigging and stuff. Truck looks small now.
  7. I'm using 1708 biax on everything. It's a little hard in some areas to get to bend at a 90 degree but will work. Used about 1 1/2 rolls so far and right at 60 gallons of epoxy. Pretty much through with glassing.
  8. Got some work done over the holidays in between some under the weather cold/flu bs.
  9. Got the spray rails cut to fit. floor and helm all cut to fit. Front deck glassed
  10. Glassing all the way upon the bulkheads. Will flood coat the underside of the plywood.
  11. Had the day off. Picked up the mahogany for spray rails and fir for deck beams.
  12. I've had so much fun using my 23 Custom I built 2 years ago I decided to build me a 26 ENVI Express. Wil be powered by a single 300 Yam/Suzi? Bow Thruster, windlass, bracket, hardtop Started setting jig 9/18/11 Flipped it 2 weeks ago
  13. My sons 77 MA 20 he completely redid. Nothing but a glass hull. Raised the floor 4", bracket with F150. Perfect setup. Added a Hancock and Grandson T-Top
  14. When I start having issues like this, I connect my battery straight to the motor with some 3' cables to eliminate any battery switch and connections at the battery problems and work my way backwards.
  15. Hard to believe no one hooked up a portable tank first. Could have saved a lot of time.
  16. Try switching them with each other. That will rule out the horn itself.
  17. Is your primer bulb pumping up? Check the filter on the front of the engine. Is it full? Is the red ring sitting at the bottom? Try switching the fuel lines from one engine to the other. Fuel issues can be a pain to track down. Check your main filters for water and trash also.
  18. I have 4 Memphis Audio speakers hooked to a $60 300 amp. I hooked up my Ipod directly to the amp. I have an Ijet remote that hooks to my Ipod which also receives am/fm. I can control my Ipod from anywhere on the boat up to 150 feet away. You should see some of the looks I get when I change the volume or songs from my beach chair. My Ipod stays inside my console safe and dry. The rf remote is about the size of a pack of gum. Website is here http://www.ijetwireless.com/twowayRemote.htm
  19. Parrott, those are some great looking boats. You should be VERY proud! I'm still waiting to see pics of the cockpit area and the front compartment. I'm looking for a set of plans that include a small cuddy where my son can get out of the heat. I just finished all the nonskid tonight. Im bringing the boat back home tomorrow and I'll get you some pics. There is enough room up front to get inside. I have kind of halfway laid down inside to see how it was. Not too bad if your not too big.
  20. Some new pics. Running and Jeff's boat. Sitting across from the Big Rock weigh in. I am going to move the numbers back some. Looks kind of funny where they are.
  21. Shameless bump there, Parrott? Hey, what is the forward area of the boat used for? Is it open area, anchor locker, or a small cabin? I have a pic running and was trying to post it. For some reason it wouldn't attach and I had to go somewhere. The area in front is like a small cabin area. I have to get inside and finish it off, maybe a headliner of some sort and covering over the plywood. Can't seem to get a pic posted.
