  1. They get the power from a transmitter that hooks up to your plug in the back. Check out these web site for some info. http://www.towmate.com/lightduty.html http://www.awdirect.com/wireless-tow-lights/
  2. Lester Give me a call Capt A Hole 228 304-1281
  3. I use them on my tow truck. Mine are more of a commercial brand and they work great, easy to hook up and you don't have to worry about the wires and plug coming apart....The one I have is made by a company called TowMate and I just want to give the company a good word for their great customer service. The first set I bought came off the vehicle while I was towing a car thru I 10 in New Orleans, LA. (they have the worst F%&KING roads I have ever driven on), called the company and told them what happen and 2 days later I had a new set at my door. Great customer service and no questions asked.
  4. Mine is an 05 with 970 hours. I figure about 17,000 miles
  5. Never throw your line to tow someone. Like Welder said you responsible if something happens. There nothing wrong with trying to help others out ......BUT LET THEM THROW YOU THERE OWN LINE........
  6. Live in Sarasota. Fl and work (have business) in Bay St Louis, MS
  7. Oh Yeh !!!!!! If you do the distance be prepared for every emergency possible. You'll probably not see another boats out there.
  8. If your talking about the Steps from St Pete.............You need a much bigger boat.........The Steps from St Pete is about 130 to 145 miles SW. The Middle Grounds starts about 80 miles W, NW from St Pete but you do not have the currents and deep water that the Steps has. The Steps within 8 miles goes from 1000 ft to 12,000 ft in depth.
  9. Gus The 37 and the 39 Topaz are good riding boats especiaaly at the speed your looking for. At higher speeds 25 to 28 kts they have a tendency to pound somewhat. They are very flat at the transom which makes them a good trolling and bottom fishing platform. One boat that you might take a look at would be the 35 to 38 ft Henriques. They are made in New Jersey and I'm sure you can find one in your price range. They are not a Cabo, Albe, Viking but overall they are a very good boat and economical. Jack Henriques makes one hell of a boat for the money, afterall he's Portugese like me and Pork Chops known boats. Good luck Fernando What is the biggest beam your slip can handle? There's also a couple local built boats here in Mississippi, and Alabama and I'll let you know.
  10. Guess who ? Not Lester the child melester
  11. Dude If you have 1 to 2 ft seas there will be about 10 boats fishing the pride. Go about another 5 miles past the Pride and you'll run into a stretch of live bottom that runs about 2 miles wide and about 10 miles long, north to south.
