  1. Hello Everyone, My brother recently went into a "Northern Tool" store in Minnetonka MN. and found that they are also selling these lights in there stores. For the heck of it I checked on line and found that Northern Tool is also selling these wireless tow lights on there web site too. Here is the web page for anyone interested.. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/sto...22945_200322945
  2. I just found these same lights on the U-Haul and Sears web sites. Here are the links below if anyone is interested... U-Haul: http://store.uhaul.com/Wiring__lights/Trai...etic_Mounts_Set Sears: http://auto.sears.com/Product.htm?catalogI...oductId=2013751

  4. Hello Dan, After reading your post I called the Wireless TowLights office and spoke to a tech about the water problems you had. He told me that there new generation of lights now have O-rings installed in the lens where it mounts onto the housing of the lights. So far I have not had any moisture or water make entry into the lights and I have used them in the rain several times here in Michigan. I haven't backed them into the water yet, cause I mount them on the back of my boat, not the trailer. The Tech told me that the manufacture/engineers completed a 2 hour under water test on the new 0-ring seals, so they are quite sure they have that issue fixed. I will keep you all posted on the lights, but so far they are working good and I couldn't be happier.. Steve
  5. Each light requires 4 AA batteries. Instructions say they will last for a 24 hour period. 12 hours night driving (with running lights) and 12 hours daytime using AA lithium batteries. This is how they get there power. I am using the standard Duracell alkaline and they have been operating nicely. The instructions say if you use alkaline you can expect 4 hours night time use plus 4 hours daytime. A total of 8 hours.. The nice thing about these are, when I want to go to the lake I know I am going to have taillights (WORKING).. Steve
  6. Hi Pastaman, I just counted the LED's in each tow light and there are 24 LED's in each light. Mann are these bright especially at night.. Steve
  7. Hello Oreely, Good question on the interferance question. I just read a section in the instructions that says that each set of tow lights operate on a separate unique code that only works with its transmitter. So it sounds like there will be no interferance from out side.. I will keep you posted.
  8. Has anyone else used wireless tow lights? I purchased a set at Pepboy's last month for 149.00 and they seem to work pretty darn good. I also tried them on my utility trailer this week. All you have to do is plug the transmitter into your towing vehicles trailer wiring plug and then mount the lights on your trailer. Total hook up time was less then 2 minutes. I will let you know in a couple of months how they are working out. Let me know if anyone else has a set of these..
