  1. OK, the picture is pretty compelling evidence. Who else could this be? Waving at the plane, SOS written in the sand nearby? This had to be these guys, right? What happened to them? The Coast Guard goes back and searches the same island and they are not there anymore. I don't blame the family for wanting to go there themselves and conduct a search. I hope they find them.
  2. BS, maybe stitching that was done 10 years ago. I do it all the time. You can use bleach as long as you rinse it off thoroughly. Bleach, in concentration breaks down fabrics over a fairly short period of time. If you use it, I would just be sure to rinse all of the bleach off completely. Personally, I would only use it as a last resort when all else fails.
