I took mine through SeaSchool. I liked the format of getting it done in just over a week......sat and sun 9 to 5, mon thru fri 6 to 10, and then sat and sun 9 to 5....(something like that)......then the following saturday we took the test.....done. That being said, I have heard good things about both......I would say do what ever fits your schedule......and, by the way, I suggest definately doing it, even if you never plan on using it. I personaly learned a lot.......

I am curious if anyone is running a Raymarine "c" series machine with a platinum plus card? I am running an old gold card (that someone let me borrow), and need to replace it. I know not all of the functionality of the Platinum card can be used on the C series. But I like the idea of having the Fish n Chips data on the same card without having to switch cards everytime i want more bottom detail. Any thoughts? thx

I had the same issue. I ended up squeezing the muffs (so no water leaked) and it started to Pee right away.......and keep pee-ing after I let go of the muffs.
