  1. Very nice, the clean look is great, hope the owner keeps it that way.
  2. About time, glad to see that type of useless posting gone. Forums are better for all when those type attitudes leave. Thanks Wiley, and have a great New Year.
  3. I like the new color scheme.....looks great, nice and modern. Nice job Wiley.
  4. Very clean, I have always liked older hulls that have been updated nicely, well done. Hope she goes to a good new home soon!
  5. The square grouper is my favorite bar !!! We should have a gtg for everyone that is a member of RB and could make it....that place is great!! Hope the move goes well for you.
  6. Just moved from NYC to WPB....FLorida is nicee

  7. Not very sporting in the least, I would have just videotaped seeing that big mako. They werent out targeting mako, and what are they honestly going to do with all of that meat?? Even if they donate the meat they dont keep personally, it would have been better to let that big mako go. Agreed with the "trapping" 10000%
  8. I think you are right, a 44 Garrlington. I saw the ad on yachtworld, its a 1991 44 and they have it listed for $399k. Now I just need to work on getting the $399k..... Thanks much for the help.....its my new favorite express, its style just beats the Riviera 48 IMO.
  9. Saw this on the Jupiter Billfish tournament site, love the lines of this express...but I am not sure that I know who makes it, I first thought it was a davis, but I dont think that is right.... Can anyone help me out with this, it sure is a pretty express IMO. (sorry about the goofy ads at the bottom of the pics, I didnt know that imageshack did that.)
  10. I think your right Wiley, this is bad news for Tiger. Now all of these other women are coming forward saying that they have had affairs with him. I bet his wife went after him because she maybe found out about one of his "flings" or maybe she has known all along and just finally snapped about it. The holidays are good like that.
  11. I will second that.....she looks very clean and well kept. Now I just need to work on finding 58k.... Good luck on the sale!
  12. Those guys are impressive with those fish. I am pretty quick with fluke and stripers, but nothing like that. Are there vids of commercial shuckers going to town on pounds of oysters?.....that is amazing as well.
  13. I saw this in the back of MotorBoating. The guy that owns Invicta has a nice Intrepid 475, although I am not a huge fan of the yellow.
  14. I have seen Invicta watches before, held them and tried them on. I am a watch snob, and Invicta are generally rip offs of known rolex models. But if you like the design of the watch, and are not a watch snob, go for it. They are usually are made in China, so you do get what you pay for.
  15. I had the same issue with my linksys. The cable modem would be all good with connection coming in, and good for nothing linx would just crap out. I talked with a few of my more networking knowledgeable friends and they told me to ditch the linksys, as they either had problems with a linksys of theirs or had heard of linksys issues. So, I went out and bought a D-link, setup my WEP enabled network, and havent looked back.
  16. I agree with the addictive part 10000% I have been checking my progress and changing sails / heading pretty often. More planning to this than I thought at first, really have to be good at figuring out where your going to be and where the best winds are going to be. I found that this morning I was heading into the wind with my spinnaker flying....good thing you cant go backwards I guess. Anyways I am now in 180 thousandth place.....not good. Cant seem to figure out how to join the THT group, I have been to the forum pages, but I dont know where to join. On that thought.....should a "reel boating.com" group be formed?
  17. I saw this thread, and I was always interested in this VORG thing. So, I just joined up. My boats name is "Dirty Oar". Currently I just left Rio, and I am in 78,991th place. A few questions, it is really necessary to buy points? How helpful are the items you can buy? and for you more experienced captains out there, which are the best / most useful to have? Many thanks.....I hope to be moving up in standing soon.
  18. Grew up and keep the boat in Niantic. Live in NYC.
  19. First name is Marino Handle is Oniram I first used that handle when signing up for AOL im, and ebay ten years ago. Now I use that handle for most of the forums I frequent. Named my boat "Bailey" after Bailey's Island in Maine. I spent a lot of time there when I was younger.
  20. For this year I would like to find a way to get out to the canyons, and do some offshore fishing. Never been out past montauk. Other than that, I would like to catch a 30lbs+ striper on my fly rod.
  21. Got an email from Wiley....I signed up on here right after finishing the email.
  22. First name is Marino, live and work in Manhattan, but grew up and still keep my boat in Niantic, CT. I have a 19' Carolina Skiff that I bought in 1995. I enjoy heading out alone mostly and just enjoying the peace of being out in the sound, along with fishing for : stripers, fluke, false albacore (on the fly rod is the best). I cant wait to get out on the water this season, although I am not really looking forward to crawling under the trailer and painting the bottom.
