Nope. It's full speed by a very small few. Some are thinking he's a stock holder. Glad to see Joey is proud.

If it were me I would only consider CAT as that is my experience level. No matter what was needed in any place throughout the world in the past 5 years I never, not once had a problem getting CAT parts or service. A few times there were problems with the people who did the work but that's another story. Many of these places were well removed from what anybody I know would call "normal". FWIW these were 3406 mechanical controlled rated at 440 each. I know for fact they will tune much higher but lack of breakdowns was key for the trip. The transmissions used on the vessel were Reintjes WAF 44's. These never had a problem and while they were rebuilt (planned) mid trip getting parts was not an issue.

You can move the batteries to the console to help offset the added weight of the 4S. Like mentioned, be sure that transom is in good shape before you go dumping 16K at a repower and also be sure you want to keep the boat for a while. You WILL NOT make any money because of a repower. I did a repower on an old hull. The hull was in very good condition to start out with, I stayed with a 2S because of the weight and the cost. I did all the labor because I had the time and equipment.
