  1. No Joey, You didn't forget to log out under your user name this time.
  2. Sorry guys but I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's Wiley's site and he'll run it the way he sees fit. He has been very clear about this for many years. Right, wrong or indifferent he owns it and does not allow a bunch of mods to interpret the rules as they see fit. If it floats he wins, sinks he loses. Seabob, I'd appreciate it if you left me out of your references. I got no dog in your quest to be whatever it is you aspire to be on the internet. It's nothing personal.
  3. No, FF has left for better grounds. Would you like for me to send him a message?
  4. Not the same. Let's add a gay right here.
  5. A check book is the easiest way to remove bottom paint. I'd never take on the removal job myself. No way.
  6. ...and the buyer submits the survey to the lender in order to get the loan. Kinda works the same way for insurance doesn't it?
  7. If the buyers bank wants a survey then the responsibility should be on them for an independent survey. How's that? It is you who wants to borrow their money. You'll play by their rules or you can borrow it elsewhere. .
  8. It's not me Menzies. You do have it wrong.
  9. I'm not allowed there. Joey, You Pm'd me from here regarding the other site. You might want to go take a look. I'm just posting my message here to prove who and what you are. I only want everyone to honestly know what you are here on RB. Maybe someone from here is helping you out? I wouldn't want to get caught doing it only to drag you both down to the bottom.
  10. So how's the sustainability business Davie? Who?
  11. Lonely? Me? If you call going out fishing every chance I get down here in paradise (Florida's Keys) with a frequent stream of friends visiting from up north lonely then I am lonely. Looking for action? Not really. I get all I want from sails, wahoo, kings, mahi, grouper, tarpon, tuna, snapper, barracuda, sharks etc. Thanks for your concern though. Oh btw did Vic 34 ever comply with your 'request'? The Keys is a perfect place for you to hang out. Keeps you out of P town and rest areas. Not only did she not comply with a showing... He's nowhere to be seen as of yet. Who you going to post as next?
  12. Joey, Are you lonely? Looking for some action are you? Just thought I'd ask.
  13. I found mine first on the BoatUS web site than found him again in a search. 20.00 per foot was the rate and it was my expense but I'm sure one could haggle the issue. It was very complete and the bank was very impressed with the report and how complete it was. Made the loan very easy.
  14. What you got? Still hanging on to the other place because you got nothing else is what it looks like.
  15. No lather Joey, I've had em from 34's to 44DD. I'll take small and tight any day. Oh and I never get worked up over guys so you're safe.
  16. Not all of them. #'s 2 &5 were fair and reasonable. This is what we are missing. http://www.thehulltr...rd-so-much.html Classy stuff huh? How were you able to post such a direct link?
  17. Nope. It's full speed by a very small few. Some are thinking he's a stock holder. Glad to see Joey is proud.
  18. If it were me I would only consider CAT as that is my experience level. No matter what was needed in any place throughout the world in the past 5 years I never, not once had a problem getting CAT parts or service. A few times there were problems with the people who did the work but that's another story. Many of these places were well removed from what anybody I know would call "normal". FWIW these were 3406 mechanical controlled rated at 440 each. I know for fact they will tune much higher but lack of breakdowns was key for the trip. The transmissions used on the vessel were Reintjes WAF 44's. These never had a problem and while they were rebuilt (planned) mid trip getting parts was not an issue.
  19. I'll add as a buyer. A) Be prepared to move as quickly as possible. Get a survey done ASAP. C) Don't waste a sellers time. D) Be honest at all times. E) Stay in contact with each other throughout the process. If Schmaltz Herring is selling his boat be assured it's in tip top shape and that he is a man of his words. It was a pleasure working with you. Package came today. Did you check the battery switches?
  20. You can move the batteries to the console to help offset the added weight of the 4S. Like mentioned, be sure that transom is in good shape before you go dumping 16K at a repower and also be sure you want to keep the boat for a while. You WILL NOT make any money because of a repower. I did a repower on an old hull. The hull was in very good condition to start out with, I stayed with a 2S because of the weight and the cost. I did all the labor because I had the time and equipment.
