  1. Nice Starfish. My dog got sick as a dog eating one from the Raritan a few months ago.
  2. We have the Terk SIR5 and have no compliants at all. It is mounted right on the T-Top.
  3. I had this problem with my Raymarine. Googled some keywords and came up with NavProtector an anti-glare film and the instructions along the way to use old fashioned elbow grease to take the factory coating (what was left) off of the Raymarine screen. So I used Windex and a terry towel with a good tuft and it was not too hard after all. I got the screen cleaned up to accept the new anti-glare film; one that I now like very much.
  4. Very long time is right in my experience. We charge ours maybe 2x over the summer, we had 3/4 charge marked after no use this winter at spring start up.
  5. Mine are USPS classes with an Advanced Pilot Certification. I taught Public Boating and Seamanship for a while too. Excellent programs!
  6. Here in NJ when they pull you over...ie State Police who rule the road (and everything you do on the water is attached to your Motor Vehicle Drivers License) along with the Coast Guard who do too, just be prepared to roll over and cooperate . You might need to get over the issues of the smack down and buckle...they are in charge and we just get to be able to have a key in the ignition on the water and not get ticketed or towed back to the nearest dock and put off if we are lucky.
  7. Hello - Navesink Marina home base. Boat will be in the H20 by the 24th. Late I know.
  8. sprockets...have you looked at Sailfish boats or have you ruled them out. They do have many of the check boxes you listed.
