There appeared to be 2 men on board and both jumped on to a FLL police boat just before the flames took over the yacht.

The yacht was on a sea trial testing some engine work.

Is it me or does it seem like a long time before the pumps were on scene?

Saw it on the news, but by the time they go to it the entire flybridge was gone already. Wiley had front row seats for this one.

What a shame, such a nice boat destroyed, glad nobody got hurt. According to the documentation information it was a 1985 42' Bert.
