You need a good friend that owns a news network, so you can "borrow" their helicopter to get some good HD video!! LOL

I have attended the Grove Slam in the past and recently had people from out of state showing interest in attending - wondering if I or anyone else they might know from the cyber-world was going to attend.

Wasn't there some sort of "unofficial race" planned?

It's an official race I believe, sponsored by Grove Slam, also that is when the pics, and video are taken by the helicoptor.

I was going to visit the event (from NC) but my schedule did not work out. Maybe next year.

I am still planning a summer trip to Florida this summer, so maybe i can catch another event.
