How Long Should It Take An F150 To Pee On Muffs

I had the same issue. I ended up squeezing the muffs (so no water leaked) and it started to Pee right away.......and keep pee-ing after I let go of the muffs.

Me too....I found that I had stretched the muffs slightly getting them on or off and without a really tight seal they sounded the alarm. I crimped them in my vise to where the rubber muffs were touching. The foot now needs to be wet when putting them on, or have the water running and get a little overspray. I needed a shower anyway!! With them that tight the pee stream starts quickly..

Pick up a 150 gallon poly livestock watering tank at Tractor Supply and you can fill it with water above the cavitation plate and let the motor run without worries. Even put the motor in gear if you want to warm the gear case before draining the foot oil. Also, if you have to tow any distance to your boating destination, you can put it in the pickup truck bed upside down and it makes a neat shelter for suitcases. Never enough room inside the truck. And, the most unique use; I water cows with it.

Why take a chance!Cut a plastic 55 gal drum 26 in long and install a "igloo cooler type"drain

near the bottom.Trim the motor up,slip the drum over the lower unit and trim down.Fill with water

(should cover the cavitation a couple of inches)When you are finished pull the plug to drain

the barrel.Just watch that the motor won't pee the barrel dry.
