If you fish for bottomfish off of NC all the way down to Florida this is important to you. They are trying to impose strict closures of Snapper fishing. This is very close to being implemented so please give this a look ....

They are openning the Red Snapper June 1 and closeing Aug 1....

How tight have the regs on the east coast?

Have they put a moritorium on for hire permits like here in the Gulf?

The last couple weeks was the first I have heard that things were so bad over there. We feel your pain! The thoughts are they will shut the gulf down next year too. Crabtree and company should be tar and feathered and run out of the fish business. I have spoke with Crabtree several times....I think he once a used car salesman...eye to eye he can make you think he all for you...then he puts the screws to when you turn your head.
