After my first post in this thread I found I was going to have to replaced helm pump and decided to spring for an epirb. Even though BOE beat the price on the Epirb by $10 it didn't come with a free ditch bag ($80). If BOE carries SeaStar helms I couldn't find them doing a search so I got a great price (almost $100 less than anyone for the SeaStar helm) from Star Marine Depot.

The free ditch bag is a manufacturer promo, so a free ditch bag is included with our ACR and McMurdo epirbs. We do carry all the seastar stuff too, just don't have it on the site. Lots of folks use us as sort of their boating parts concierge so we can get just about anything, just requires a phone call instead of ordering online.

The one I ordered was the only one I've seen that came with a free ditch bag.

Never thought about using the phone to see if you carried stuff not on the web site. You might think about adding that to the top of any page that is not a complete list of items you carry....IN BIG BOLD letter (just in case you do and I didn't see it )

You might also add the ditch bag info too (just checked it not in any of the epirb product discriptions).
