West End Bahama Bay To Green Turtle Cay

On my previous boat with a 3 ft draft I was able to leave Bahama Bay and follow the short channel headed to Green Turtle. My new boat has a 4'5" draft and I have some concerns with this channel. It was two years the last time I made this trip. I dont want to damage props at the beginning of my vacation. Can anyone provide me current information or should I run North and then cut over.
