The Thunder Series model has been tested in Florida,N.C. and PEI Canada for the past year mostly catching a few Marlins, Wahoos, Big Blue Fins etc. The Thunder Series can withstand any battle in the deep blue sea that an angler may face.

We have just received a shipment of the Thunder Series and the first customer that saw it was so impressed that he had to buy the first one. So now we only have 9 available. Each rod comes with a one year warranty from us (PRO Challenger LLC in Florida).

The Thunder Series is equipped with all original Pacific Bay International components. Our hollow rod blank is made and mixed with 90% carbon and 10% E-Glass. By mixing carbon and E-Glass together, it gives the rod blank more power advantage and much lighter weight than traditional solid fiber glass rod blank. The carbon is more expensive than fiber glass material. This rod weighs 22 oz. without Pacific Bay #4 butt attachments. Choice of butt (reg. straight butt or short bent butt).
