Solas Rubex Hub kits for Yamaha 350 V8 outboard

I was told by Ken from prop Gods, that if I got a Solas Rubex 127 hub kit

for my Yamaha 350 V8 outboard, that I could fit any Mercury propeller to my

engine, as they are interchangeable with Flow torque hubs.

I was all set to go ahead with this, but after I contacted a Solas

agent,he said that this was not correct, and that the exhaust blocker

ring that comes with the Rubex kit would not fit Mercury props, and only worked

with Solas props. I know Ken has told me that several customers are using

Mercury props on thier 350 outboards. Does anyone on here have a Yamaha V8

outboard, and if so, have you tried Mercury props, and does the exhaust ring

fit properly or not ?

Yes it does fit, and I have a kit now.
