Ok, which is better the SRA 40 or the SRA 25?

I'd go with the 40 and mount it where it is completely unobstructed. I have the 25 which sits on the dash under my glass windshield and it doesn't work very good. If I'm in anything but totally calm seas I constantly lose hook-up.

Purchased the 40 after hearing the same thing from Jim. It is going to be mounted next to my GPS, above the radar.

I just use the car antenna that comes with the receivers, and place it on my t-top electronics box, under the canvas. Works fine.

Just a quick derailment here.... Does anyone know what the proper, or preferred, antenna would be to mate with a Clarion stereo??

And note if you have more than one Sirius device you can get a combiner from Shakespeare to share a single antenna. Got mine from Jim at BOE and it's worked great for three seasons now.
