My old radial Carlisles did well for a couple of years but started to get chopped up... I have since replaced them with Denmans and they have so far (about a year later) performed well and show no real wear... I would never use bias Carlisle tires..

I have the Denmans as well for about a year and half. No signs of wear just yet and no issues. I got these at Tire Kingdom mounted and balanced (4 tires) for just under $400. They even added anti-sieze and tourqued them to the trailer spec. :605_thumbs_up:

One of the biggest problems we have with ANY tire is improper inflation , get and USE a good air gauge.

Isn't this the truth! I have learned this lesson from a previous trailer tire replacement. The big temperature swings change the air pressure on these tires. I now check them alot and fill up at the same time when I get fuel for the boat.

Great reminder!

We had the Goodyear problems on the interstate while on vacation in Florida. Stoped at a Goodyear store in St.Mary's Georgia and the dealer replaced all 4 tires with TowMaster tires. Said while selling tires on the coast for a lot of trailers, TowMasters have never failed and last a long time. He stocked TowMasters over Goodyear branded tires because of the lack of quality and backing from Goodyear. We have had the TowMasters on now for just over 2 years with no problems at all. :239_fishing:
