March 15 - March 19 is spring break around these parts and my buddies and I want to take a cruise. Looking for something that will go out of states each day. Also, is it better to leave out of Tampa, FL or Miami? So far, the prices look affordable (I figured as much since the economy is down).

If you're driving to the Port you might want to check out Port Canaveral as well. About a 9 hour drive from you and about 150 miles closer than Tampa.

If you're flying Ft Laud and Tampa cruise terminals are easier thah Miami. Most ships all go the same places.

Since it's your Spring Break buddies look into Carnival as you'll probably get the best rates. Nothing fancy, but you don't need fancy.

You're right, nothing fancy is wanted. Looks like Canaveral cruises are the best for what we want to do. A Bahamas cruise sounds good.
