Electric Brakes for for boat trailer

Hi all,

I have the boat trailer on blocks for the winter(boat on top) and I am going to replace the brakes on the trailer. I like the control of electric brakes instead of surge which is on the trailer now. My work trailer has electric on both axles and I like being able to use the trailer instead of the truck brakes to slow down.

So my question is electric for the boat trailer brakes. What happens with the magnets in the saltwater that throw the brakes or just dunking them in the saltwater?

My son & I go back and forth a lot to the coast so the brakes get used.

They have Electric over Hydralic Brakes for Boat Trailers now.Electric Brakes on Boat Trailers and Dunking do not work well together. [Mike]
