Jigs or grub I use in the fall for Trout. (Lots of Pictures)

Thanks, Rick for the awesome photos and the info....

We have some really good trout flats all around us here, west of WeekiWachee, Fl. Some of them are really deep...8-10' and almost 8 miles offshore. I usually fish with popping corks to get the occasional mackeral or two, but what would you recommend to get way down to where some of the lunkers lay??

I would try a Gulp on a heavier jig head, or a 52M21 Mirror Lure. It sinks at a rate of one foot per second. I would do a slow erratic twitch back to the boat.

Its the one in the middle here.

And dont forget the Rattle Trap.....

The hooks on the top one look more like mine. Nice to see some lures that look like vetrans.
