Yea I know this is not a car web site but I thought some here may enjoy these.

Nice photo's and statements.

I was a little too young when most of these were in their prime.

My first car was a white 66 Mustang Fastback 2+2, 289, automatic on the floor.

Bought it for $400.00 in 1975 and sold it for $500.00 15 years later.

I asked myself, If I had the money, would I fix up my car or buy my first boat?

I bought a 13' Boston Whaler.

These are billboards in Detroit.

My first car was an 1951 Chevy Club Coupe, my second car was a 1965 Chevy Impala twodoor, 396CI 425HP, 4 speed 4:10 rear, still run GM to this day. I remember they 1957 Chevy, 283 Power Pack with 3 dueces, 1958 Chevy with 348 4bbl or 3 dueces, and then the 409 in 1961, this thread brings back a lot of memories from the good old days.

The round track dirt back in the 60's-80' 240 LTS.

He had two cars at one time. One was a 64 Chevelle with a small block, and the other was a 70 Chevelle with a big block. He finished first and second a lot. In our best season we won 27 out of 40 races.

I liked the 64 with the small block the best,,,It had a Holly 1180 Dominator on top of it that would turn 7 grand every lap! It was bad A$$!!!
