Any Comments on Pettit Vivid

Recommended Posts

You plan on leaving your flats skiff in a wet slip? Trailer it and skip the paint. If you must store it wet, Vivid is a good paint. I used it on my previous boat. The effectiveness of bottom paint varies geographically. What works well here may not work for you. Find some boaters in your area that use Vivid. They will be your best source.

I use the Vivid white and like it a lot. It looks great when the boat is out of the water and rejects marine growth very well in the water. The only downside of using white is the scumline that shows up from being in the water, but it brushes off very easy.
