Yamaha Spring Service

Recommended Posts

The Water Pump was awsome. Used it last spring. I can do all of the other items you listed, but it is always interesting to see how other's do it. I am self taught, so it will be great to see how others do it. Any trick I can learn is appreciated. Been 4 years since I spent any money on repairs other than parts... Sites like this & participants like you make it work.

I really appreciate those comments buddy. Makes it all worth while!!

A water pump kit from Andy (SIM) includes much more stuff than the standard impeller kit. Stuff that should be changed.

Many folks are having fuel issues due to Ethanol. The engine mounted fuel/water separator and the low pressure pump seem to be the first things to go out.

My new posts will show how to troubleshoot common fuel system issues.

Hey gang,

Been working on the new setup and I plan to do all the maintenance this week. Several new tips will be documented and some of the old stuff will be update with new pictures and MORE pictures.

I decided to create a web page for these tips in lieu of creating and maintaining multiple posts. I have allowed several sites access to this information on a permission basis.

Here is the new setup: Yamaha F200/225 Maintenance Tips

It will be very printer friendly which is what most folks wanted. No glit and glamor, just good content.

Thoughts?
