Parking and Other Tickets

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.

Well for example, the other day my wife and I arrived in this small town we had never visited before and went into coffee a shop for a donut and a double double. We were only in there for about 5 minutes, not a minute more. When we came out, there was this young cop writing out a parking ticket.

We went up to him and said, come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break.

He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him a dumb twit.

He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires.

So my wife called him a shit head. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first and then he started writing a third ticket.

My wife then said are you going to a give a ticket for the parking brake that is busted and the noisy muffler to. Damn, didn’t he write another two tickets for that.

This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Finally, after writing seven tickets, he looked around at the crowd that had gathered around and the cop decided that he had done enough damage, and left with a very sarcastic smile.

The wife and I yelled good-bye to him and gave him the one finger salute.

Personally, we didn't care. We came into town on a tour bus.

So, what you're saying is you go around town causing trouble. You probably give the waitress a hard time during the early bird special too!
